Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Revisionme website at https://revisionme.com, the Revisionme web application and the Revisionme feedback widget (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or installing the widget on your website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Revisionme lets you place a small widget on your website so that your visitors and teammates can report issues. Each report may include a comment, a screenshot of the visible part of the page, the page address, selected text, browser and screen details and, optionally, the reporter's email address. Reports are delivered to you by email and other notification channels you enable, and are available in the web application.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for everything that happens under your Revisionme account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use the Service.

3. Free plan and changes to the Service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans, change or discontinue features, or set reasonable limits on usage (for example the number of reports, projects or stored screenshots). We will try to give notice of material changes on the website or by email, but we are not obliged to keep any feature available.

4. Your content and your visitors' data

You own the reports, screenshots and other content submitted through your widget ("Your Content"). You grant us the right to store, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for Your Content and for your use of the widget on your websites. In particular, you must have the right to install the widget on the website, and you must inform your visitors about the collection of feedback and screenshots where the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy describes what the widget collects.

You may delete reports and projects in the web application at any time. You may ask us to delete your account and all associated data by writing to hello@revisionme.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to collect data from websites you do not control or have permission to work on, to store or distribute unlawful, infringing or malicious content, to send spam or unsolicited messages, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other users' data, or to interfere with the operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. The widget on your website

The widget is loaded from our servers into your web pages. We work to keep it lightweight, backward compatible and free of errors, and we may update it at any time without notice. You may not modify, obscure or redistribute the widget code except through the embed code provided in the web application.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revisionme disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Revisionme is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free account is zero.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published at https://revisionme.com/tos with the date of the last update. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
