Sharing a report by link
Every report has a Copy link button. The link looks like https://revisionme.com/app/#/share/… and opens that single report: the screenshot, the comment, the selected text, the page URL and the browser details. It is the quickest way to hand a problem to a developer, an editor or a client who does not have a Revisionme account.
Links are public
Anyone who has the link can open the report without signing in. Only that report is visible; the link gives no access to your project, the list of other reports or your account. Treat it like any other shareable link and do not post it where you would not post the screenshot itself.
Links do not expire
A link keeps working for as long as the report exists, and a single report cannot be deleted in the app today — only deleting the whole project takes its links down with it. Links created earlier in the form revisionme.com/#/share/… (from older emails and notifications) continue to open the report as well.
Planned
A project setting to turn public links off, or to revoke a link for a particular report, is on the roadmap. Until then, share a link only where the screenshot itself could go.
